RECRUITING & REPORTING: MVM applies and recruits new networks interested in our web sites’ inventories on behalf of our publisher clients. We’re constantly creating new relationships and negotiating better deals with our network affiliates, so that our clients don’t have to. Instead of applying to networks themselves, gathering several reports, and talking to a slue of different network account managers, our publishers simply speak to us and receive single reports, combining all the numbers from all the networks, including revenue, eCPM, CTR, and daily impressions, into one simple report. Plus, we get answers more quickly; since our impressions as a publisher network are greater than most single sites, we tend to have special working relationships with the networks.

CONSOLIDATING PAYMENTS: Rather than gathering 10 checks from 10 different networks, each arriving at a different time, whether it be Net 45 or Net 60, MVM combines all payments into one, sending you a single check in Net 30, on time, no matter what. We deal with the headaches of collecting from Networks at various times. If you choose to set up your already-working networks through us, you get paid within 30 days even on those networks. This puts cash into the hands of our clients quicker and easier so they can do what they do best—operate and improve their web site—and we can do what we do best: Manage and Optimize!

NETWORK OPTIMIZATION

COMPUTER GENERATED: Our internal Ad Management server implements a very advanced tracking and adjusting operation. It automatically tests, records, and compares how specific ads, ad sizes, frequency caps, geo-targets, and fill rates perform on each web site on an hourly basis throughout each day; the server then applies what it learns to the following day, tracks and adjusts again, in order to generate the highest paying ads from whichever networks are paying the most at a given time, cap, fill rate, and geographic location. This proves to serve the absolute highest eCPM from our roster of networks to each of our sites at any given moment. Only the network with the highest paying ad for that particular size and end user will get the placement.

HUMAN TOUCH: We don’t rely on this sophisticated computer generated optimization tactic alone; we believe human monitoring is significant as well. That’s why, every day, our optimization team compares each site’s performance to the day before. We compare how each ad size on each site performed from each network’s ads. MVM then gradually adjusts fill rates to higher levels when we see a particular ad size is doing well; whereas, if an ad size is under-performing, we may take the fill rate down, adjust the geo-targeted areas, or even lower the frequency cap. Beyond these basic optimization techniques, we can also look at specific ads that are not doing as well as others and try to replace them with creatives that are in fact paying better and receiving higher CTR’s--this is done through close working relationships with our network affiliates. We have found the compilation of both CG and Human optimization techniques to be an integral facet of monetizing web site inventories.
